Antique Japanese Jewelry/ Music Box + Geisha Girl That Spins In Circles while the Music plays.
Has 3 drawers to place your jewelry.  One drawer doesnt open it simply has a push in pin that stops the geisha doll from moving and stops the music from playing momentarily.
You can tell this is an early black lacquer japanese box (with hints of mother of pearl, good japanese writing, and colorful scenes hand painted on this) mainly by the brass hardware and the tiny flat brass nails.  Also the cloth lined drawers and all other cloths used in different places you can tell were made from old fabric.
Yes of course there are areas where the black lacquer paint has chipped off from age or improper handling.  Yes there are pieces of mop that have fell off from just being old.  Also you can tell someone used the wrong kind of tape to hold the doors closed in 2 places on the vert front of the box(should be able to be cleaned free without damaging the scenery).  Structurally this piece is holding up very strongly and quality for such an old piece.  You can tell its got many years left of usage no problem there.
Measures  10 1/4" at tallest point by 7" at widest by 3 3/4" depth.
I will add that one doesnt usually fimd one of these with such strong detail in the painted scene.  Very nicely painted and very quality constructed in true Japanese fashion.
