Antique Lacquer And Mother Of Pearl Mahjong Box

Description

Beautiful mother of pearl and laquer box - I was told it was used for Mah Jong but it does not have any tiles or other items with it.
There is a little damage but none visible from the outside:
bottom drawer is missing handle
there is a spiit in the front panel
It is a beautiful, impactful display piece.  Roughly 7 inches high and 6 wide by 6 deep.
