    Description

    Vintage Hand Painted Japanese Black Lacquer Oblong Box.
    The box is 4 inches long by 3 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall.
    The box is wooden with red lacquer interior.
    The top is some kind of white plastic that has been painted on.
    The painting is two women.  One is reading to the other.
    There is some wear on the outside edge (see photos).
