Vintage 1993 TAJAR plush figure from The Tajar Tales Collection by Classic Works.
Plush is based on story originally written by Jane Shaw Ward and published in the 1920's. The book originated from stories she told at a children's camp in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. It was republished in 1993 with new illustrations.
The Tajar is described as part tiger, part jaguar and part badger.

Traditionally told orally in children's camps, this enchanting story is about Tajar, a mischievous forest creature who becomes full of folly and dances in the moonlight, Madam Witch who pins a magic on the Tajar's back, and the Range Ranger who ranges the ranges in that region and must maintain discipline in the forest.
The plush overall in is excellent vintage condition. Some wear and tear from age and use. Primarily light dirt/discoloration on the "skin" and "bandage" fabric. Please review all photos provided which includes measurements.
Will be shipped in a box rather than just a poly bag to protect him. Will be in the 2# shipping weight class.
